Lily Grace is a young girl going big places. Already turning industry heads, collaborating with iconic Australian artists, supporting artists including Vance Joy and drawing strong crowds, this 17-year old talent from the Gold Coast is one of the most exciting female artists to emerge in recent years.
Lily Grace is a genuine, grounded performer who sings from the heart. With her relaxed, easy-listening style and warm and natural stage presence, Lily Grace leaves audiences transfixed by her talent, her young age, and her unique style.
Naturally gifted, Lily Grace began singing at 10 years of age. She dived deeper into music a mere four years ago, when she was gifted her first guitar at the age of 11. Her determination to self-fund her own equipment saw her busking at local markets, and soon after, attracting her to local cafes, restaurants, events and festivals.
With several years’ stage experience already behind her, Lily Grace delivers her own storytelling originals alongside a vast collection of popular, crowd-pleasing favourites from contemporary, classics, and country. The emotions of love, determination, kindness, gratitude and pure joy pour forth in every one of her performances.
Lily Grace is a sought-after talent, performing at the Groundwater Country Music Festival last year, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Barefoot Country Music Festival (New Jersey, USA), Freedom Festival (Monterey, Tennessee USA), and the iconic ‘Bluebird Cafe’ in Nashville, Tennessee.
She recently supported Aria winning pop-folk artist Vance Joy, opening his Brisbane Riverstage show. On the country scene, she has opened for Amber Lawrence and Catherine Britt’s ‘Love and Lies Tour’ across Queensland, joined Tania Kernaghan in concert, toured with James Blundell, and the Davisson Brothers band in the USA. She has performed on main stage of the Gympie Muster, Groundwater Country Music Festival, and Tamworth Country Music Festival, and recently won the ‘People’s Choice Award’ of the Gold Coast Music Awards along with being a finalist for ‘Breakout Artist of the Year’ .
Last year, Lily Grace had an exciting collaboration with the legendary country music icon, James Blundell. The two penned a song together, co-headlined a concert on the Gold Coast and toured together, taking their co-written song ‘Annie June’ to stages across Queensland, following on from it’s successful release in May of 2021.
The excitement around the track helped it reach the Top 10 on the ‘Australian Country Radio’ chart, #17 on the ‘Hottest Australian Country Hits’ chart, #9 on ‘Country Radio Charts’, #31 on the ‘Countrytown Hot 50 Music Chart’. A live video stream on country radio program, KIX Live, and with the official music video being played in high rotation on Foxtel’s & Fetch CMT TV channel reaching #3 in ‘Today’s Top 15’, also featuring in ‘Official Top 30’, ‘Fresh Country’, and ‘Aussie Country’ programs.
Off the back of a successful debut duo release, Lily released her debut solo single in August, ‘Sixteen Wishes.’ An uplifting and summery track, it rocketed to #3 on the ‘Australian Country iTunes Chart’ and #27 on the ‘Australian All Genres iTunes Chart’. Within a week of it’s release, it was the #1 streamed and downloaded song for Australian radio airplay. ‘Sixteen Wishes’ continued to climb the Official Top 30 on CMT television, reaching #13.
Lily Grace’s most recent release in February, ‘The Two Of Us Meet’ was Lily’s most successful solo release, reaching #1 on ‘iTunes Australia Country Chart’, #11 on ‘iTunes Australia All Genres Chart’, #1 on ‘Country Thunder’, #5 on ‘Australian Independent Record Labels Association Chart’, #6 on the ‘Oz Country Music Radio Tasmania Chart’, #9 on ‘Hottest Australian Country Hits’ and #12 on ‘Country Radio Charts’. As her first song to also launch in the USA, her international fan base grew rapidly and ‘The Two of Us Meet’ received over 1 million streams. The song debuted on the Music Row Country Chart at #78, and climbed to #23 on the Music Row Indie Chart. CMT Australia added the music video to high rotation and the track rose to #11 on the CMT Top 30 Chart.
With the demand for her music taking her over to Nashville and the USA this year, and an ever growing fanbase and social media following, the future certainly looks bright for this young artist.
